Wuhu City Officials and Commercial Consul of the Chinese Consulate General in Chiang Mai Visit Science and Technology Park and CIC Incubation Center to Explore Collaboration Opportunities.
On 16 May 2025, the China Intelligence Center (CIC), College of Art, Media, and Technology, Chiang Mai University, led by Dr. Danaithan Pongpatcharatorntep, Deputy Dean and Director of CICCAMT, welcomed a Chinese delegation for an official visit.

The delegation was led by Mr. Lyu Sheng, Commercial Consul of the Chinese Consulate General in Chiang Mai; Ms. Wei Xiufang, Executive Vice Mayor of Wuhu; Mr. Tang Xinliang, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the Wuhu Economic and Technological Development Zone; Mr. Zhang Zhaojun, Deputy Director of the Wuhu Investment Promotion Center; and Mr. Cheng Chunqing, Executive Deputy General Manager of Chery International.

The visit commenced with a site visit and briefing at the Science and Technology Park, Chiang Mai University, where the delegation was received by Ms. Melin Chuamanochan, Deputy Director, and Dr. Nattida Tachaboon, Project Manager. The session provided an overview of the Park’s initiatives in fostering innovation and technological advancement, with the aim of exploring avenues for future collaboration.
Subsequently, the delegation visited the CIC Incubation Center, also known as the Thai-Chinese Trade and Logistics Incubation Center. Ms. Kirana Pongpatcharatorntep, Head of CBECCIC, along with the team, extended a warm welcome and supported the initiation of bilateral cooperation efforts .

The visit marks a significant step towards strengthening economic and technological partnerships for future collaboration.
